Recently, it was CAI Austin CARES! Day at the Capital Area Food Bank of Texas with about three dozen chapter members and guests who processed more than 10,000 pounds of food, which will provide more that 8,400 meals for Austin neighbors in need. Another $300 went into the food bank’s coffers, too. And, they did it all in just three hours. (Now, if we could only get them to work building highways, we’d make that cross-town commute in no time.) Thanks to Jay Jayasuriya for the photo. Sponsors who helped in some form include Alliance Association Management, BB&T Association Services, Concrete Raising Corp, Greater Texas Landscape Services, Kelly-Moore Paint Co, Kilowatt Partners, Lifeline Aquatics, Planned Community Management, SunScape Landscaping, SunTerra Landscape Services, Watkins Insurance Group, Weichert Law Firm, and Winstead. A hearty Bisnow pat on the back to each of you!
